New California Law for Notarizations!

As of January 2008, California Notaries will be required to verify identification of signers. Personally knowing a signee is no longer acceptable. This means ALL signers must have a current picture ID. (State Issued Driver's License/ID Card, Passports etc.)

Fees:

  • $10 PER SIGNATURE (In other words if one person has two documents that need to be notarized, the fee is $20 and so on.) This is non-negotiable.

Travel Fees:

  • $30 & up
  • $1.50 for ever mile over 20 miles

Discounts:

  • For more than (1) one signature, deduct $2 off the travel fee.

Parking Fees:

  • To be paid by the signer in the amount that the notary is charged. Please provide the notary with parking information prior to coming to your office/hotel/hospital/other facility.

Emergency Hours & Holidays

  • 12 Midnight-6 am
  • $20 in ADDITION to travel fee if you need a notarization between these hours.
  • Holidays: add $20

Payments:

  • Cash (Please have the EXACT amount), Business Checks, & PayPal (PayPal requires Internet access)
  • Personal Checks are NOT ACCEPTED.
